Julie Fisher                     

Julie is a Southern California girl who, after falling in love with her husband Matt 15 years ago, moved to the Central Valley to join his family's citrus farming operation. Bakersfield is now where she proudly calls home.  Julie and Matt keep extremely busy with their 4 kids--Luke 12, Lily 10, Wyatt 7, and Max 2. God blessed them with their youngest son by way of adoption. Going through his adoption opened her eyes and heart to foster children and only confirmed the need for Bakersfield Angels. She is so proud the Lord has led her to be a part of it.  

For fun, Julie and her husband love, love, love to travel! Exploring new places, seeing new things and experiencing different cultures together is something they strive to do as a family. When not traveling, you can find them at home with lots of animals. If you visit them, you will most likely meet chickens, rabbits, dogs, and occasionally pigs. Yup, pigs!

Julie likes to call herself the fancy country girl because when she is not feeding chickens, she runs an Interior Design Firm. She has an A.A.S. degree from Parson School of Design in New York City.  She worked in Newport Beach, CA for eight years for a well-established Architectural/Interior Design firm before she started her own business in 2008 here in Bakersfield. She loves creating beautiful spaces and is very passionate about her work.
