JenN young

Jenn is a current program director at Bakersfield Angels, having joined the organization at its launch in September 2020. She believes that all people should be given the opportunity to be seen, known, loved, and encouraged no matter their circumstances, so that they are able to live into their fullest potential and one day positively impact the next generation. After benefiting from having extremely influential mentors in her own life, she is honored to be the connector of youth experiencing foster care with community mentors in the Dare to Dream program. 
Jenn graduated from University of the Pacific with a degree in Psychology and spent several years as a Behavior Specialist, working with children with developmental disabilities and their families. She has been married for 27 years to Mike, a 4th generation family business owner/operator. Together, they have 3 incredible adult children who keep them grounded and thankful every day:  Emma, Halle, and Jake.
