High School Ambassadors

Our unique High School Ambassador Program is a way for students to get involved in impacting the lives of children, youth, and families experiencing foster care. By creating awareness about the foster care community and sharing the hope of transformation through radical support programs with peers, the future of foster care will be impacted. The Ambassador program is set up to allow high school students an opportunity to dive deeper into the work we do at Bakersfield Angels in a way that also supports the student's educational and professional goals.

"I enjoyed the fall festival the most. I feel like that’s where we got a more hands-on experience with the kids and it just gave us a purpose to the cause."

"I learned how prevalent foster care is in our community and how many children are impacted by it. This experience showed me the importance of supporting and being there for foster youth."

"The thing I enjoyed most about the Ambassadors Program was getting to know everyone and building a great relationship with them."
