DEVENEY MILLER
A Bakersfield native, Deveney is passionate about making her community a wonderful place for everyone to grow up in. She graduated from Arizona State University in 2021 with a degree in Health Education and Health Promotion, then quickly started her professional career as a Health Educator with the CalFresh Healthy Living Program, striving to help everyone achieve optimal wellbeing. When she saw the opportunity to apply for a Case Manager position with the Bakersfield Angels, she jumped at the chance to be part of something so crucial for the community. She knew this would be the perfect opportunity to support families in the foster care system and truly make a difference. Deveney is a self-proclaimed “crazy cat lady” with two of her own fur babies. She enjoys spending time with her husband, traveling, trying new restaurants, and practicing yoga. Her greatest dream in life is to bring a little bit of light to every person she meets. |
