CIERRA ROGERS
Cierra graduated cum laude with a B.A. in English from California State University, Bakersfield. Throughout her college years, she developed a deep passion for teaching children to harness their intrinsic strengths and talents. With a background as a former club soccer coach, fitness instructor, and director of a local enrichment program, Cierra gained valuable insights into the unique needs of children and families. Her journey has led her to work with numerous organizations dedicated to supporting the physical, emotional, and spiritual growth of children across the greater Bakersfield area. Cierra firmly believes that everyone has a purpose, and she has found hers in empowering youth with love and guidance.
Growing up in a large family, Cierra has always been surrounded by unwavering support, which has played a key role in her personal success. However, it was the troubling statistics surrounding the foster care system and the challenges faced by foster youth that ultimately sparked her commitment to action. Now as a Program Director heading up the Dare to Dream program, Cierra is dedicated to advancing the program’s mission one match at a time! |
