Allison graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a degree in Ag Business. She owns a dairy farm with her husband Brodie. He does all the cow things and she does all the office things. They make a pretty good team. To prove it, they have 4 amazing, super cool kiddos that are almost all grown. She prefers not to talk about that.
Allison has spent a lot of time speaking/teaching at various women’s events and Bible studies and spends time volunteering with Flood Ministries. There, she and her posse help transition some of the most vulnerable out of homelessness. Her other love is hanging out at Green Gardens, an apartment complex for individuals who were previously homeless and down on their luck. She gets fired up watching God do the great reversal in people’s lives.
Allison has a heart for the outliers and marginalized and prefers to root for the underdog. She believes God is in the details and if you slow down for a minute, He might just tell you your next step. Her next step is launching Bakersfield Angels into the crazy generous community of Bako. Children experiencing foster care have a lot of odds stacked against them. Allison is passionate about doing her part to level the playing field so that these kids can grow up to reach their full potential and live out their God-given purpose.
