Allison McClainAllison McClain is the Founder and Co-Executive Director of Bakersfield Angels. She has a heart for the outliers and marginalized, always rooting for the underdog. Six years ago, after hearing a podcast about the staggering statistics surrounding foster care, she felt called to take action. Determined to make a difference in her own community, she launched Bakersfield Angels in September 2020, bringing its mission to the incredibly generous and invested people of Bakersfield.
Allison is passionate about leveling the playing field for children experiencing foster care, ensuring they have the support, resources, and relationships needed to reach their full potential and live out their God-given purpose. Her leadership and dedication to this cause were recognized in 2024 when she was honored as one of Bakersfield’s Women with a Heart for Bakersfield by Mayor Goh. A graduate of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, with a degree in AgBusiness, Allison also acts as the controller of the dairy farm she owns with her husband, Brodie. They have been married for 28 years and are proud parents of four amazing grown children: Kennedy, Tanner, Canon, and Cash. |
