​​ADDRESSING COVID-19
To protect the health of our community, we are moving to virtual volunteering/mentoring, and when appropriate, socially distant in-person meet ups. We are committed to helping preserve the relationships between our Love Box volunteers and families and our Dare to Dream mentors and their mentees, while continuing to make NEW matches, as children and families need support now more than ever. Our team has been working hard to ensure we find creative, safe, and engaging methods of staying connected. The ways we are able to interact with each other during this time are drastically different than what we are all used to, however, we are equipping ourselves, as well as our volunteers, with the tools, ideas, and awareness to help them continue building relationships in this time.

MISSION STATEMENT:

The Bakersfield Angels mission is to walk alongside children in the foster care system, as well as their caretakers, by offering consistent support through intentional giving, relationship building, and mentorship.
